A little context.
A better movie choice.
Triggerboxd is a free, community-powered movie content-warning guide focused on Indian cinema. Viewers can check distressing content and family-viewing opinions without reading a plot summary.
Basic browsing needs no signup. Search Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English and other films by title. Coverage depends on the reports available for each film; a search result does not mean every content category has been assessed.
Browse published movie guides or learn how to read a spoiler-free parents guide.
Viewer reports
Movie details and viewer assessments serve different purposes. Warnings come from people who have watched a film. Unknown can mean unassessed or spoiler-protected; it never confirms that content is absent. Reports can disagree, and different cuts can contain different material. Warnings are not a guarantee of suitability.
Content intensity, opinions about watching with parents, and opinions about watching with kids are separate signals. A film can feel comfortable with parents and still contain frightening or violent scenes.
Our guide to checking content warnings without spoilers explains how to start with categories and reveal detail only when you need it. If you are comparing sources, read our comparison of IMDb Parents Guide alternatives. That comparison is published by the team behind Triggerboxd and includes our own service.
The demonstration
The Last Monsoon is a fictional film. Its sample warnings and simulated submissions are separate from real movie guides.
